If have debt, but moved out of country permanently, what happens if I stop paying the payments?

asked October 3, 2017 by Anonymous

I have about $75,000 of debt when I moved out of Canada. It has been making the payments from my RRSP money that got cashed out after leaving my job. Now the money is running out and I won’t have a way of making the payments anymore.
What is likely to happen?
Since I’m not living in Canada any more, is there anything that will come after me for this?
